Practice Manager: Brett Buck
Brett is a native of Texas but his heart is here in the Big Easy.
Brett Buck graduated from TCU with a degree in finance. He then attended the American Banking Institute and received his graduate degree in banking. He worked for Bank of America for 11 years as a Vice President of Private Banking before moving to New Orleans in 1996. Brett, who would describe himself as “ Corporate Bohemian “ made a complete career change upon moving to New Orleans. He attended Blue Cliff College where he was certified as a massage therapist. Shortly thereafter Brett met Dr. Pelias at an open house and eventually joined her staff as a massage therapist. He is now the patient coordinator and practice manager. Brett handles the day to day business needs of the office but he still prefers the title of “Official Hand Holder”.
Aside from his job at the Cosmetic Surgery and Lifestyle Center, Brett is also a standardized patient and teaching associate at Tulane University School of Medicine. He also serves as an Outreach Coordinator and volunteer at St. Mark’s homeless ministry.
Aesthetician: Shannon Eckler
After an extensive search, Dr. Pelias has identified Shannon Eckler, a talented woman who graduated from a prestigious school in aesthetics. With over 7 years of experience, Shannon customizes each treatment to successfully meet the needs of each patient. Shannon has experience in both the spa and medical setting and maintains a professional and friendly disposition with all her patients. To make treatments more effective, Shannon enjoys educating and suggesting new products to assist with home care regiments in between office visits. Her expertise includes but is not limited to: Microdermabrasion, peels, hair removal, the treatment of acne, Visia Complexion Analysis, artistry and corrective make-up and spa treatments. Shannon is dedicated to the overall aspects of balance and wellness with each of her patients.

Director of Business Development: Liana Creech Drouilhet
Liana Creech Drouilhet serves as the Director of Business Development for Dr. Marilyn Pelias Cosmetic Surgery and Lifestyle Center. Liana manages all marketing, advertising, public relations and business development initiatives.
Liana was born in Uptown New Orleans, the place where she mostly spent her childhood and adult life. After graduating from Isidore Newman School, she entered the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Following her academic tenure at the University of Georgia, Liana went back to her hometown and attended Tulane University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in English.
After completion of her undergraduate studies, Liana worked as an advertising executive in both in the New Orleans and Houston markets. In 1994, she joined the sales and marketing team of Savage Design Group (a branding and design agency). Liana’s broad-based industry knowledge, complemented with her dynamic business acumen, was the driving force in promoting innovative portfolios of graphic design artists; as well as in spearheading progressive company branding, identity, and website design and production. Prior to joining Dr. Marilyn Pelias' team, Liana was the Practice Administrator and Chief Financial Officer at Gitter Vein Institute. She developed business strategies and formulated budgets while supervising the daily operations. She ensured that the whole practice was running seamlessly and successfully while directing all efforts to expand the business.
Liana is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), a life member of The Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport, Pass Christian Yacht Club, New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and New Orleans Country Club. She served on the Board of Directors and was PTA President of Coast Episcopal School. Apart from work, Liana’s pride and joy are her children—Drew, 16; DeDe, 14; and Cameron, 10. The family currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana.
